Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory -
Myriad Gardens, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Open since March 1988, the Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory has over 100,000 paid visitors each year. The conservatory spans a two acre lake in the center of a 17 acre garden located in downtown Oklahoma City. Close to hotels, convention facilities and many restaurants, the Gardens are visited by approximately one million people every year. The Gardens are easily accessible from Interstate 40 as it passes through downtown. The Palm collection at the Crystal Bridge is its' forte. Shunning but a few of the more common species, visitors will discover a delightful array of not-so-well-known specimens. The Crystal Bridge contains many other impressive specimens. Cycads, Gingers, and Bromeliads are a few of the other collections.

Seasonal displays inside the Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory are changed out approximately four times per year. The holiday display appears each Thanksgiving through New Year's Day and the other widely varied exhibits focus on educational aspects of nature. Some of the past exhibits include "Mysteries of the Mayans", "Plants, Potions and Prescriptions" and "Treetops of the Rain Forest".
